The 35th HEP FIVE Original Fashion Contest:
Final Judge October 15(Mon), 2012

for Overseas Application

HEP Five Original Fashion Contest, which started in 1972, attained the 35th year.
It aims at encouraging the young people's fashion culture both at home and abroad, and leading them to success in the world of fashion.

It is a "hot" contest of young creators for which a lot of candidates apply from not only Kansai Region but from all over Japan. In addition, from the 24th held in 2001, it partially opened the door to Asian countries such as Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, etc. in order to make it more significant by cultural exchange.

The finalists, who passed the first judge take part in the final judge and show their competitive clothes in the catwalk show.

The 35th HEP FIVE Original Fashion Contest in 2012

*** First Judge : September 7th (Fri), 2012 ***
Application Sheets (Design drawings) should be sent to the OFC
Secretariat by August 24th (Fri), 2012.

(1) Design drawings are judged in the 1st judge.

(2) Deadline: August 24th (Fri), 2012
(3) Theme of the works: 2013SS Ladies' Fashion
*	Only those who passed the 1st judge are entitled to participate in the 2nd (final) judge held as the catwalk fashion show in HEP Five.
*	Plural applications for 1 person should not be more than 3 .

*** Application Form for the 1st judge ***

(1)	B4 sized sheet of white paper (H36.4 cm x W25.7 cm)
(2)	Design drawing should be in full color either in brush pen or color pencil.
(3)	There should be a 3cm-width blank space on the upper side of the sheet.
(4)	The drawing should include the front style in the center and the back style (smaller than the front style) in the left lower space.
(5)	Accessories, hats, shoes should be drawn, too.
(6)	Swatches should be put on the left upper space.
(7)	On the back of the sheet, write down name, gender, address, phone number, e-mail and school or company name. Every applicant should keep the color-copy of the drawing in order to make the clothes when they pass the 1st judge.
	***CAUTION to those who need immigration visa to Japan: Passport name in English (and in Chinese Characters if the nationality is Chinese) and correct date of birth should be mentioned.

Date:	October 15th(Mon) 2012, at 16:00 PM.
Venue:	The Entrance Atrium, 1st floor of HEP Five, Umeda, Osaka
Program:	(1) The Fashion Show as the final judge. (2) The Ceremony of Awarding
Prizes:	(1) Grand prize 1,000,000yen (1 person) (2) Superior Prize 300,000yen (1 person) (3) FIVE's Special Prize: 100,000yen (5 persons) (4) Finalist prize: 10,000yen of shopping ticket of HEP Five
Subsidy:	30,000yen will be paid to those who hand in the works to the 2nd judge. *Details of air-tickets, accommodation and other conditions are explained via e-mail.
